project description :
JSB asked us to create an exhibition from their most elaborate collection pieces, so that viewers can immerse themselves in the hand embroidered details of the dresses.

our solution:
We took inspiration from the brand’s brave references that include reaching back to renaissance art and iconography. This helped us to group the pieces creating triptychs, a choir of angels or a sacrifice. Not to compete with the dresses’ meticulous handwork the displays were minimal, and the connection with the dresses were made by braiding the wood display with colourful metallic threads.
