We design and make every single piece in our Budapest workshop.
THE STORY BEHIND
The archetype of Cö is Gábor’s granny’s Mid-century embroidery clamp. It moved in with us to our workshop as an odd object that we liked without knowing its original function. So rethinking it was a free association, and we saw it as a functional support for shelf and a geometric decorative item. Its uniqueness also lies in the way we make it, as Gábor handcuts the thread into the wood with the help of a traditional tool.
